SALLY Hogan maintained her excellent form in the Gloucester Cross-country League with third place in the women’s race at Tewksbury School.

The Bromsgrove and Redditch AC runner moved up from seventh to third, finishing just 10 seconds behind winner Millie Barnes (Worcester AC).

Captain Tamara Ball (13th) and Gemma Cone (28th) completed the scoring three for the A team which finished fourth.

Dave Gemmell (12th) led the BRAC men home in the 10.3 kilometre race, with Simon Lanckham paying for early enthusiasm by slipping from fourth to 22nd.

In the under-17s girls section, Orianna Ball was third.

In the West Midlands Young Athletes League at Sandwell Valley Park Farm, Beth Lloyd was first home for the club in the under-11s.
