Prince Charles has been receiving a great deal of flack from the arty community, especially architects, who feel that both he and us commoners have no understanding of taste where new

having just read in a national newspaper that the organiser of the Glastonbury music festival is being fined £3,000 because Bruce Springsteen broke the 12.30am curfew by nine minutes I wonder how

I am bewildered to find that the fishing rights relating to the Herrotts and Droitwich Vines Park Basin facilities, which are publicly owned, are now controlled by private enterprise – namely the
Droitwich Angling Centre Please note that the Herrotts fishing facility and surrounding vegetation was efficiently managed by the Barley Mow Angling Club (of which I am a member) for 40 plus years.
There were regular surveys regarding the welfare of the fish stocks. Restocking was financed by the club and carried out with the approval and in conjunction with the Environment Agency.

Bromsgrove shopper, in the June 17 issue, feels strongly that his 61p daily contribution to the EU is money well spent, which is strange, as I have always regarded Bromsgrove folk as quite shrewd.
He/she is apparently unconcerned that £ 41 million a day goes to a disorganised bureaucracy that has had no signed off audited accounts for 15 years and can only reliably vouch for seven per cent
of its spending.

Unfortunately, we hear a lot about misgivings in our elderly care homes, but because staff at The Priory Rest Home, Elmbridge, take on the role of family to their residents, there is definitely
something good to boast about. For more than 12 years I have been visiting a member of family at this care home and now that his care requirements are becoming ever more demanding, the staff are
persevering to keep his dignity and quality of life right up to the end.

I am a mother of three who has lived in the Bromsgrove district most of my life and in the past I have worked as a countryside volunteer. Having brought my children up to respect the countryside
and wildlife around them, I am now teaching my grandchildren the same. I have experienced inner city children seeing the countryside for the first time and their amazement of what it offers. Also I
have seen our greenbelt disappearing around us in Bromsgrove as we live in a beautiful area that offers us a wide range of wildlife.

Advertiser readers will not have been happy to read the article regarding the massive central Government house building programme (June 17) centred on Bordesley, Beoley and Rowney Green and on
