NEWSTARTS cannot thank the shoppers at Bromsgrove’s ASDA store enough for the generosity they showed on Friday, July 6. The local charity, which operates a food bank from its offices in Sherwood Road, was overwhelmed by the amount of food and toiletries that were given to them during the annual food collection outside the supermarket. Despite both the weather and economic climate, people were still liberal with their gifts. It means so much to us as a charity and to those who receive the emergency food parcels. The generosity of local people is magnificent and something that the area should be truly proud of.
