WONDER if anyone else has noticed how car drivers these days seem to think it’s their right to park vehicles on the pavement obstructing the way for pedestrians.
It is certainly rife in Catshill. Wherever you walk around this area there are cars on footpaths, either partially or fully leaving little or no room to get round. A wheelchair user or anyone with a pushchair would have to walk in the road to get past some of these cars.
Perhaps the law has changed now to allow this practice because nothing seems to be done about it. I’ve seen police cars drive past and not take a scrap of notice.
I suppose until an accident happens because of these inconsiderate drivers nothing will be done.
