Political platform

IT seems to have been a successful move on the part of the council to move the market traders into the High Street during these financially difficult times and has brought people into the town.

But while the traders have been provided with the marquees to enable them to earn an honest living it is surely not appropriate for members of the public to come along and festoon them with their political propaganda, I am sure it was not the council’s intention to have these stalls used as a political platform and I fully support the officer’s actions in removing the offensive material.

Dear Dennis,

Doing a deal with the Tory old pals are we...getting friends again and what's your intention this time then?

YOU SAY YOU ARE SURE IT WASN'T THE INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL for posers to be fixed to stalls?....question is of course would you know the intention, remembering that it was you that said the Romsley tip wasn't going to close to me and now we hear it is, was it your intention in 2003 and it then had to be shelved for a while??...ON THAT BASIS U DID NOT CONSIDER ME TO STAND IN ST JOHN'S...that was of course the basis that I told the truth which is what the people wanted?

Is this the first of many i ask with you supporting your life long tory pals here in Bromsgrove then?...and will you be on the tour bus showing your PPC around Bromsgrove, don't fall into any pot holes will you?

sincerely,

Stan Francis

The only way moving the market stalls could be considered a successful move is in so far as it hides many of the empty shops.
