I am sure I speak for the many hundreds of parents of girls who have been coached by Sheila Perks to enhance their netball skills.

Nobody more deserves the recognition that has been awarded to Sheila for all the hard work, time and dedication to her chosen sport and to her many protegees.

My daughter has carried on with her netball and I am sure it has a lot to do with Sheila’s dedication and enthusiasm.

I hope The Advertiser/Messenger gives Sheila the recognition that she deserves not a small news item tucked away somewhere that nobody can find. Jon Prescott, Bromsgrove via email
