AFTER reading that a youth centre has been proposed for the town centre, I find myself quite delighted after spending most of my youth going to youth centres in Malvern I really think this is great news!
This gives the youth somewhere to hang out with friends, meet new friends and be able to get advice from youth workers about any problems they might be experiencing.
It really does not matter where a youth centre is put as a lot of people think that because there are a lot of young people in one area then that is going to cause trouble.
I am afraid people, this is not always the case. I have a lot of very fond memories of my youth centre days and I say give the kids the benefit of the doubt as well as the youth centre.
