Privilege is ours
I WELCOME the idea of about 15 refugees coming to Bromsgrove. It is a matter of compassion. (There will of course be no refugees unless the government changes from an offer of up to one year of funding to up to five years of funding.)
The Syrians who will be chosen are from those who were unable to flee – it could be a mother with children, of someone who is handicapped. It will be a privilege to assist these people, coming from a desperately war-torn land.
