I wish to express my gratitude and thanks to all the staff at the Alexandra Hospital, Redditch, for the recent care I was given.

I was unfortunate to be involved in a cycling accident around two weeks ago, which required a trip to their A&E department and a subsequent visit to the minor injuries unit as well as an overnight stay in the EDU unit.

Throughout my stay there I was given the utmost professional attention, right from the moment I entered into their care with all processes being fully explained in a truly professional manor.

My thanks go to all involved.

From reception staff where I was greeted with a smile to all the X-ray staff who attended to my needs.

To Pauline, the Advanced Nurse Practitioner, who first assessed me, and Tom, a registrar, who checked me over.

To all the staff in the Emergency Decision Unit – Sarah, Sinead and Nicki.

I am bound to have forgotten someone, but again cannot thank you all enough for your hard work and dedication in what was obviously a busy night in a stressful environment.

I will endeavour to be more careful in future.
