REGARDING the article “Bromsgrove not reaching recycling target”.
I live in a block of eight apartments in Rubery.
Despite having three recycling bins the household waste bin becomes overflowing after one week, leaving the bin open to rats, foxes and further problems.
I did ring the council some time ago asking if they would send leaflets round encouraging cycling but to no avail.
If this is happening in many places the target has no chance.
As the recycling contribution is so important to the future of the planet the council need to be more pro active in this matter.
