REDDITCH & Bromsgrove Branch of Parkinson’s UK would like to thank everyone who contributed to our collection at Sainsbury’s on Saturday, June 7. A great result of £835.67 was achieved.
It is very heart-warming to see that even in hard times, people give so generously. A big thank you too to the staff at Sainsbury’s, who were so incredibly helpful.
What do we do with the money?
Well, we meet on the first and fourth Wednesdays of each month at the Rocklands Social Club, where we have recreational activities and professionally run exercise sessions and in addition to these regular meetings we take members on outings, and provide professional respite help in certain circumstances.
All of these activities enhance the lives of our members and their carers.
We also provide transport to our meetings for those who are otherwise housebound.
In addition we are proud to support two very important national areas of research.
Many thanks once more to everyone who supported us.
