I HAVE yet to see the reason for community police officers.
They achieve nothing and are a drain on public resources.
It seems they just put on a uniform and walk about in pairs and achieve nothing in the way of cutting crime, dog fouling, litter dropping and anti-social behaviour.
Why the police are privileged in having a pension after 25 years, I do not understand.
It is not a stressful or difficult job. Coal miners had to work until 65 years of age in a dirty, dangerous and health affecting occupation.
Out of all the emergency services, I would rate them bottom of the league.
