A COLLEGE is holding some taster days for potential students to ‘try before they buy’.
The taster sessions will be held at Pershore College on Wednesday, July 22, from 11am until 3pm, and are open to all ages and abilities who are considering horticulture or animal welfare as a career.
Potential animal welfare students will work with the animals on site, covering husbandry and care, while the horticulture students will do practical activities in the grounds of the college.
Both groups will receive course and careers advice from staff as well as sampling mini-lectures and the learning environment.
Taster day organiser Jenna Jack said: “It is important for potential students to see if they are going to enjoy studying with us before they commit to a course.
“These taster sessions are the perfect way to do that, they have been very successful in the past and students often sign up soon afterwards.”
To book a place on one of the sessions, call 01386 5511228 or e-mail jthompson2@warkscol.ac.uk.
