MP Harriett Baldwin congratulated the team running an “outstanding” Malvern care home.

She toured the Howbury House Resource Centre in Pickersleigh Grove after being told how good it is. Harriett took tea with staff and residents during her visit. Howbury House, a county council facility, cares for 32 people and offers transitional care helping people between being discharged from hospital and returning to their homes.

She said: “I arranged the visit after receiving a wonderful letter from a constituent saying what a great job the staff do. It is always a pleasure to be able to visit somewhere that has such an outstanding reputation and I was more than happy to spread the good news.”

Jackie Creese, Howbury House manager, added: “We have a dedicated team that works hard to ensure that all those who stay with us experience the very best care possible."
