THIS is Bruce, a handsome two-year-old white American Bulldog-cross with black spots waiting for a forever home.

He is in the care of RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch and is described as a friendly and affectionate boy.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, said: "Bruce is labrador height and in beautiful condition, with a soft and smooth coat.

"He is a really happy, playful, bouncy boy who has had some training - he is clever, bright and quick to learn.

"He knows sit, gives both paws, down and roll over. His favourite pastime is sleeping on your lap on the sofa.

"He is good travelling in the car and is happy in the boot with a seatbelt clip. Bruce loves everyone and lots of company. He enjoys his walks - he pulls a little on the lead initially, but then calms down."

Bruce is housetrained, neutered, vaccinated and chipped. Please ring Geraldine on 01886 822083 if you are interested in offering him a loving home.

Last week's featured dog, black labrador Toby, has already gone to a new home - a lovely couple who saw him in the Berrow's Worcester Journal.

Mrs Haynes said: "He's settling well and enjoying all the fuss. Apparently he barks when he wants some food and he's barking quite regularly! It's really nice for him to be in a new home."
