THE Rotary Club of Worcester is looking for a 16 to 18-year-old achiever to participate in an all-expenses paid, six-day long ‘leadership course’ in the Forest of Dean.

To be held from Tuesday, July 24 – Sunday, July 29, the Dean Field Studies Centre-based course will be see 40 participants taking part in a series of outdoor practical exercises and theoretical discussions.

The centre includes accommodation and offers the chance for the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Participants, with outdoor activities including a ropes course, canoeing, climbing, caving, abseiling and orienteering.

Since 2004, the RYLA course has provided talented youngsters the opportunity to improve their personal objectives and achievements.

The RYLA certificate, which is awarded at the end of the course, is worthy of inclusion in a CV and is recognized by colleges and universities alike.
