SIR – Not only do we have the nonsense of the north bound traffic restriction on the M5 Junction 4a as a result of the repairs further up the motorway being done before Worcester Parkway is built, but early in the new year the improvements to junction 6 of the M5 will start before the new Parkway Railway Station and new railway bridge are built on the A4440 south of Worcester.
Please can the M5 junction 6 improvement wait a year or take off the unnecessary restriction at the M5 Junction 4a?
I note that Highways England have drop in meetings tomorrow (December 14) at Sixways (1pm to 8pm) and at Chateau Impney on December 18 (1pm to 8pm) to meet the public.
MARTYN MOORE Worcester
