STAFF at the Kangaroo Bar in Worcester’s New Street were relieved to be re-united with this misbehaving marsupial after it went missing over Christmas in 1998.
The four-foot, fibreglass animal was eventually returned to the bar – looking slightly worse for wear – after a six-day holiday.
“We are delighted he has come home,” said Craig Pinches, co-owner of the bar.
“We got a telephone call from someone connected to the [Worcester] rugby club who told us he wanted to come back and he arrived home looking like he had enjoyed Christmas.”
