STUDENTS got stuck in with a variety of scientific experiments during a week of fun activities.
Witton Middle School children celebrated science week by attending an event at Droitwich Spa High School.
Pupils heard a burst and a loud pop as one scientist demonstrated two experiments, while others stood back to avoid being engulfed by dry ice.
At school, the children were shown a variety of weird and wonderful experiments including explosions, fireballs and chemical reactions.
Joss McLeod, the school’s science lead, said: "It was great to see the children and the teachers getting stuck into experiments."
Charlie Hopkins-Budd, a Year 6 pupil, said: "The experiments were amazing. My favourite was the one where the drink can squashed in on itself – it imploded."
