SIXTH formers from Christopher Whitehead Language College helped more than 60 children to make egg parachutes in the Hive as part of a popular Science Live night.
Toby Elston, Leila Harding, Chloe Hodgetts, Arianna Morris Gouveia, Susi Menhinick and Ellie Whitcombe enthusiastically helped visiting children on Thursday, March 16.
Youngsters cheered as eggs floated to the ground in parachutes made from junk modelling although there were a few cracked eggs along the way.
Children were given an eggcellent scientist postcard and chocolate egg to take away.
