PUPILS from a Worcester school joined together to complete a half marathon challenge.
Year 8 pupils at Nunnery Wood High School set themselves the challenge of running 13.1 miles over four weeks in November.
They ran three or four miles every Friday after school and they all successfully completed the challenge on Friday, November 25.
For their final two miles, head of year 8, Emma Telger, invited her coach and owner of Training for Warriors, Anthony Taylor, to join them in their quest.
Mr Taylor presented each of the pupils with their gold medal and certificate of achievement.
Carrie Binnerlsey, assistant year 8 team leader, helped to lead the group over the training sessions.
She said: “The students did a fantastic job and should be very proud of their achievement.”
