A WORCESTER primary school pupil has won a competition to design a poster for a family concert.
Imogen Heppner, a year four pupil at Northwick Manor Primary School, has been chosen the winner of Worcestershire Symphony Orchestra's recent competition.
Youngsters from several local schools were challenged to design a poster for the forthcoming family concert, being held at St Martin’s Church, London Road, on Saturday, November 12.
Judges Keith Slade, the conductor, and Piet Grobler, the book illustrator, have selected Imogen's design as the overall winner.
Imogen will be receiving her prize at the concert, which features two performances, one at 2pm and again at 4pm.
The concert features pieces from different countries including The Magic Bojabi Tree, a piece specially commissioned for the orchestra based on the book by Dianne Hofmeyr and illustrated by Piet Grobler.
