TENNIS enthusiasts served up various successful charity fundraisers at a Pershore club.
Since last year staff and members at Pershore Tennis Club have been raising money for a defibrillator fund working with the British Heart Foundation and the Mike Ellis Memorial Fund.
The money raised was able to purchase the defibrillator, a safe cabinet and CPR training for the Avon Bank club.
The club also held a July tournament, which was organised to raise money for a bench for an outside court, as well as funding for the town's Down's Syndrome Support Group who use the courts on Saturday mornings.
The American-style tournament attracted 18 players and members enjoyed coffee, cake and lunch - the cakes being provided by the Down's Syndrome group.
The weather threatened but held off until all matches were completed, when lunch and Pimms was enjoyed.
Tournament winner was Jules Hinchliffe, with runners up Heidi Deacon and Sally Hardacre.
The event raised £133 towards the bench, £250 raised for the Down's Syndrome Support Group to continue their sessions at the club.
