FOOD meant for a live music event has been stolen from a Droitwich pub.

Humble Grill had left a stock of food such as hot dogs, chips and burgers at the Old Cock in Droitwich.

Thieves took a customer's red bike, food and a green gazebo.

The latter two items belong to town mobile food outlet Humble Grill.

The food was going to be sold at the Friar Festival where a host of bands will play at the Old Cock on Saturday, June 4.

The thefts took place on Thursday or Friday of this week.

The door leading to where the products were being kept was left open, meaning thieves could pounce.

Tristan Edheridge from Humble Grill said: "Our food stocks have been left pretty much bare, if anyone has any information I'd urge them to come forward."

The Old Cock Inn said on its Facebook page:  "Very disappointed to have discovered food products and a gazebo belonging to one of the Friar Fest food stalls have been taken from the back of the pub.

"It's more sad considering we pride ourselves on being a community pub, if anybody within the community has any information or saw anything over the last week please let us know directly via a message."
