FOR those wanting to learn the ancient country craft of hedgelaying, a course being run at National Trust-run Croome, will show you how it's done.
Richard Clarke, from Really Rural Ltd, is offering tuition on Friday February 12.
Hedgelaying is a natural way of creating a field boundary that can provide a stock-proof barrier and provide a haven for wildlife. The course will be hands on with participants learning and taking part in every aspect of preparing and laying.
The company also offers hedgelaying gift vouchers as a special green gift for someone with an interest in age-old rural skills. Other country sports and skill activities they deliver include archery, bushcraft, clay shooting, air rifle shooting and country skills.
