A PEOPLETON school has enjoyed success at a national awards ceremony run by the Independent Schools Association.

Bowbrook House School was shortlisted and placed in the final three for the categories of ISA Senior School Award for excellence and innovation in provision and ISA Award for IT Innovation as well as being nominated for the ISA Award for the Outstanding Provision in Sport category.

Chris Allen, Bowbrook House School’s headmaster, said: "It is always gratifying to have the pupils’ work and the professionalism and efforts of the staff recognised in such a public fashion and on the National stage.

"As a small school to know we are 'up there' with the best of the ISA nationally, is a credit to the staff and pupils' hard work.”

He added that “To gain success yet again on the ISA National stage shows how the smaller, truly independent school still has a place in a rapidly changing society.

"Traditional values coupled with dedicated staff can provide life changing opportunities.

"This is the third time in six years that Bowbrook has been recognised on the national ISA stage and it is a testament to our highly professional and dedicated staff who are supported by the pupil and parent community. "We should all take time to bask in this reflected glory.”

The national awards evening was held at the ISA Annual Conference in Daventry.
