A MUM has shared a tale of Christmas kindness in the hope of tracking down a stranger who put a smile on her toddler son's face.

Sara Jayne Clark was shopping in Card Factory in The Shambles when her 22-month-old son Corey picked up a Father Christmas bear.

After telling the little boy she had no money to buy the teddy, Miss Clark, from Stanley Street, Worcester, was stunned when another shopper came up and put £10 in her hand to buy Corey the bear.

Now the 27-year-old would like to find the woman to thank her properly.

She has posted an appeal on Facebook which has been shared almost 200 times.

Miss Clark wrote: "To the lady in card factory in the shambles Worcester today 23/11/2015 at approximately 13:00 I would like to say a huge heartfelt thank you for restoring my faith in human nature.

"My son Corey saw this singing, dancing teddy bear and grabbed it off the shelf and started hugging and kissing it and kept asking me for it, when I said to him I couldn't afford it until next week he got really upset as I had to put it back on the shelf.

"Then when I was at the checkout paying for my Christmas cards the lady came up behind me and passed Corey the teddy back and put £10 in my hand and told me she was buying it him for Christmas as she doesn't have any little ones.

"This amazing lady had me in tears and I can't thank her enough as now Corey is one very happy little boy and you have showed him the magic of Christmas... So Thank you..."
