STAFF and pupils at the independent Dodderhill School in Droitwich raised a "fantastic" £1,000 at their coffee morning for MacMillan Cancer Support.
The event was organised by year 11 pupils, led by head girls Alex Scott and Jessica Tapson, with musical entertainment organised by music captains Olivia Meeks and Olivia Withey.
Children from all year groups joined together to enjoy hot drinks, cakes, music and a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses including Tagwells Tea Room in Droitwich.
Headmistress Cate Mawston said: "The whole school had a lovely morning coming together to raise funds for this fantastic cause. We’re really pleased with the total raised - it’s a fantastic amount and for such a worthy cause.
"Well done to everyone involved.”
