TWO men are to appear at Worcester Crown Court charged with illegally taking electricity.
Ben Trainer and Christopher Robinson have been charged in connection with an investigation into City Gym.
Trainer, aged 24, of Marsh Avenue, Warndon Villages, Worcester, and Robinson, 46, of St Moritz Close, Northwick, Worcester, have been charged with abstraction of electricity.
Trainer appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Friday, July 3, and entered a not guilty plea to the charge.
He is due to stand trial on Monday, October 19.
Robinson - believed to be the owner of City Gym - appeared before the County Court on Friday, July 17, and did not enter a plea.
He is also due before Worcester Crown Court on Monday, October 19.
The charge relates to the time period that the gym was based in Sherriff Street. It has since moved to a new unit in Westbury Street, Lowesmoor.
As previously reported by your Worcester News, police launched the investigation in January.
