A SPECIAL event for dogs and their owners promises to be "fun and educational".
Pershore Pet and Livestock, which is located in Pershore Retail Market, will hold a free weigh-in day for dogs on Saturday, May 23, from 9am to 3pm.
An expert from Burns pet food will be on hand to weigh all breeds and sizes of canine, as well as provide advice on pet nutrition and health.
Anne Worrall, owner of Pershore Pet and Livestock, said: "Dogs being over-weight is a bit like humans - it is an increasing issue and problem.
"We want to try and encourage owners to get some help if they need it.
"The day should be both fun and educational."
Money off vouchers and free goodie bags will also be handed out during the event.
