DIG deep and give to the grand garden raffle at Homebase at the launch of a new partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday (April 3).

The Go Mad, Go Green, Go Macmillan activity will see customers at the store on Elgar Retail Park, Blackpole Road, have the opportunity to win a Qualcast 1000w mower, Qualcast trowel and hand fork, watering can and garden gloves.

Tickets will be £1 each and all proceeds will go directly to Macmillan.

Macmillan was selected by Homebase staff across the UK to be their new charity partner following a vote.

Chris Cullinan, store manager for Homebase Worcester, said: “We are all absolutely delighted to be launching a new partnership with Macmillan.

"They provide such wonderful services to people living with cancer in our community and we hope the people of Worcester will come and support our launch event.

"One nursing hour costs £27 so we’re hoping that we can raise lots of money to get the partnership off to a great start.”
