ACTIVITIES have been organised to keep children and families occupied in the upcoming half term.
Worcester City Council has set up a five-day programme of free sporting events at 11 different venues in the city.
These include cricket, tennis, football, badminton, volleyball, rugby, athletics, frisbee, parachute games and more.
Sessions run from Monday, February 16 to Friday 20, and will cater for two to 18 year olds. No booking is required.
Hannah Cox, sport, art and play development manager at the city council, said: "These sporting activities are all free, on your doorstep, and provide variety for all the family, getting everyone active and having fun in the local community this February half term."
All sports coaches at the sessions are DBS checked and hold the relevant qualifications and experience.
Children under the age of eight need to be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian at all times, while children under 16 must provide emergency contact details of a parent or responsible adult.
