DARTS star Terry "The Bull" Jenkins visited Worcester to celebrate a charitable partnership that has hit 180.

Cash Converters sponsored the PDC World Darts Championship and agreed to donate £100 to Support Our Paras for every checkout of 100 or more.

There were 60 ton plus finishes in the tournament so the company donated £6,000.

The money was presented to the good cause outside the Cash Converters store in Pump Street, Worcester, on Friday (January 23), with Terry Jenkins showing off his skills for good measure.

Mayor of Worcester Councillor Alan Amos, wounded soldier Tom Neathway and Cash Converters operational director Mick Jones were present at the event.

Mr Jones said: "It is brilliant to have donated the money to a charity that does such great work. It doesn't get any better than supporting a worthwhile military cause."

According to its website, Support Our Paras is a charity that "supports The Parachute Regiment through the welfare of serving soldiers and families and those affected by recent operations, and through the maintenance of its regimental efficiency, ethos, spirit and heritage".
