SHOPPERS were evacuated from the CrownGate centre in Worcester today when the fire alarm sounded.
Members of the public were asked to vacate the centre at about 2.30pm but 20 minutes later the shopping facility re-opened.
It would appear that the scare was just a false alarm.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were not called to the incident and West Mercia Police were not involved either.
More details to follow.
