MORE supermarkets are following Sainsbury's example in cutting the price of fuel.
Sainsbury's announced yesterday that the price of diesel and petrol at their fuel stations would be slashed by up to 5p a litre.
Tesco has now announced that from tomorrow it would be reducing the cost of its petrol and diesel by up to 5p a litre, while Asda announced that it would be cutting its petrol prices by up to 1p a litre and diesel by up to 2p.
