A FUN day for the community is being held in Droitwich.

The annual event is being hosted by Fortis Living, the new name for the organisation which unites Festival Housing and Worcester Community Housing.

It will take place at Westlands First School in Farmers Way, Droitwich, on Friday, August 22, between noon and 3pm and aims to bring the community together.

This year’s event has a family fete theme with lots of traditional fair games such as hook a duck, coconut shy and wheel of fortune.

Other free activities include a wrecking ball, crazy golf course, bouncy castle, face painting and a small petting farm.

Fortis Living will also be helping promote local services and facilities in the area and the event will be a great opportunity for local residents to consult with us on a range of different topics.

Paul Edwards, Fortis Living’s Droitwich community officer, said: "Our community events are part of Fortis’s aim to build successful communities and these events help bring residents and community groups together. This event will have something for everyone and we hope that lots of people will come along to enjoy the fun."
