Foster carer Meg Farmer gave us an interesting talk.
She told us many tales which were amusing, sad, thought-provoking and inspiring.
We discussed our upcoming quiz night and the Christmas fair on Saturday, December 1.
We took a vote on which local charity would receive a donation from the proceeds and Primrose Hospice will be the recipient. Winner of the competition was Jenny with a cute toy. For the September meeting we will be welcoming Brenda Killigrew who will tell us about all aspects of lingerie.
