President, Carol Kinsey welcomed everyone and two new members to the February meeting. birthdays and anniversaries were announced.

Carol reported that the recent snowdrop walk at Where next Nurseries had been enjoyable despite the terrible weather.

A photograph h as been sent to County hopefully for publication in Newsletter.

Members were reminded of forthcoming events, the Boat trip from Tewkesbury to Upton on May 4, Kurling Evening on May 18 and Group Quiz on February 29.

Carol introduced Steve Soden a qualified Alternative Therapist who gave short demonstrations on reflexology,seated accupressure massage and indian head massage with the help of three volunteers, Hazel, Chris and Rita. Carol gave the vote of thanks.

President thanked Members for their donations of toiletries for the Women's Hospital and for the returned Smartie Tubes which had been filled with coins. She reported that two Institutes in our group, Kingfisher and Stoke Prior had sadly closed.

Flower of the month was won by Mavis Walthew and the competition for the best old remedy was won by Carol Kinsey. It was reported that the raffle raised £32 and the trading table £19.

The WI meet at Winyates Green Community Centre on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm. Visitors are very welcome.
