THE ladies supported their husbands at an English Country Breakfast event at Finstall Village Hall. More than £1,000 was raised for the Combat Stress organisation.
More than 100 people attended and tucked in to a breakfast of eggs, bacon and sausage. A surprise guest was Paralympian Emma Wiggs, who performed at the London Paralympics in the sitting volley ball games.Emma is the current European and World sprint champion for the Paracanoe event and proudly showed off her medals.
Combat Stress is the leading charity caring for British veterans who have been profoundly traumatised.
