Wednesday 14th July marked a departure from the normal school day for the children in Year 6 at Witton Middle School when they turned their school hall and library into a museum for the day.

Witton Middle School entered 40 pupils from Year 7 into the Junior Mathematical Challenge 2010 which is aimed at Year 8 and below. Over 250,000 pupils took part nationally and we met with significant success. 3 Golds awarded to Sam Heywood, Duncan McNeill and Luck Comerford. Luke was the best in school and olympiad participant; this is a huge achievement for Luke as only 5% in the Country have achieved this.
