POLICE are cracking down on dangerous driving in an accident hotspot.
A number of serious injuries and deaths have happened on the A46 through Evesham travelling from Salford Priors.
One driver was clocked driving along the route at 112 miles an hour, with the limit for the road being 70, whilst another was checked at 96 miles an hour.
The road has seen a number of deaths in recent years, including in October 2015 when a woman in her 20s lost her life.
A man and a woman died in May 2016 on the road, two lost their lives in November 2016 and 19-year-old Nat Bailey died in December 2016 whilst travelling along the route.
