A TOUCH of the Irish came to a Ludlow care home for St Patrick’s Day with music and food.
The home was in high spirits as they celebrated the national day of Ireland with Traditional Irish Music from Kitty Greenwood.
In honour of the traditional feast day and the country’s patron saint, residents and their guests were treated to traditional Irish food and tucked in to Potato Cakes, Irish Soda Bread, Guinness, Irish Cream and Irish cream profiteroles.
“Everyone was wearing shamrocks and our chefs did a brilliant job at preparing a traditional feast of Irish food so that we could really celebrate the day,” said Shann Thomas, General Manager at Hagley Place.
“It was wonderful to see everyone go to so much effort to get involved with the day’s celebrations. “I really liked the Irish Cream Profiteroles and the traditional Irish Jigs on the Fiddle.”
