LEDBURY Community Choir will celebrate twenty successful years in 2018.
A spokesman said: “This year Ledbury Community Choir’s Summer Concerts, called ‘Twenty Years’, are a celebration of music performed by them since their inception in 1998.
“At first the choir was based at the John Masefield High School which is a specialist school for the Performing Arts and although the rehearsal venue has changed the choir is still going strong.”
The spokesman added: “Twenty years later, they are looking back over that period of time and celebrating a news item, media event or special happening in song. This is an opportunity for nostalgic festivity and a reflection on the contribution the choir has made to Ledbury, and to the lives of their members and their audiences over that period of time.”
A forthcoming concert will be at Ledbury Rugby Club, Ross Road, Ledbury, on Saturday April, 21 starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from 01531 634630.
