A COTSWOLD country pub and distillery are joining forces to champion local produce at an evening pairing gin and whisky with mouth-watering food.
The Churchill Arms at Paxford, near Chipping Campden, is teaming up with the Cotswold Distillery at Stourton, near Shipston-on-Stour, to present a three-course dinner with each course using the locally created spirits.
The event takes place on Wednesday April 4 at the Churchill Arms from 7pm.
The menu starts with Cornish Pollock cured in Cotswolds Dry Gin, grapefruit and black pepper salad, Cotswolds grapefruit bitters. This is followed by Toddenham Beef, local broccoli, broccoli puree, Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky Oat Crumb. To finish, diners will be served Churchill’s Affogato, Cotswold’s Figgy Liqueur.
