A BROMSGROVE housebuilder is searching for local charities to become one of its new partners, having raised more than £800,000 over the years.

Churchill Retirement Living’s charitable arm the Churchill Foundation has raised the staggering tally through all its UK stores since it was set up in 2015.

More than 50 different charities all over the UK have received a slice of the money, but the foundation is now looking for new partners for 2019.

Spencer McCarthy, Churchill Retirement Living’s Chairman and CEO, and a trustee of the Churchill Foundation, said: “We’re very proud of what the Churchill Foundation has achieved since it was set up less than three years ago, transforming many people’s lives by supporting our main charity partners as well as a wide range of smaller charities.

"Every year we pick three or four main partner charities to support, not only financially but through generating exposure via our colleagues, owners, business partners and the events we organise throughout the year."

Registered charities can apply to become a partner at churchillfoundation.org.uk before the deadline on September 24.

Applications will be welcome from charities that align with at least one of the Churchill Foundation’s three core areas: the relief of sickness, disease and human suffering; the promotion of health amongst older people; and the support and wellbeing of the young.
