A NUMBER of Mercedes Sprinter vans have been stolen from a distribution company in Cradley Heath.

Thieves made off with five vans – four sprinters and one Luton van – which were decorated with ‘superhero’ graphics from distribution control company ADP’s Station Road base earlier this month.

West Midlands Police are now appealing for information following the burglary at the Broadcott Industrial Estate.

Officers were called around 3pm on October 7 after the owner became aware that five vans had been stolen from the premises and immediately launched an investigation.

They have been looking at CCTV from the industrial estate and surrounding areas and are following a number of potential leads.

A spokesman for the police said: “It’s possible that the superhero graphics have been removed, but this would have left a noticeable mark. In order to steal the vans, parts of the dashboards were taken out so please look out for this.

“Anyone who has any information about this incident is asked to get in contact – we’re particularly keen to hear from you if you have noticed one of these vans parked in your area.”

Information should be passed to police via 101 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 20SW/214400H/17.
