A DARING Kidderminster theatre worker is aiming to raise £800 for The Midlands Air Ambulance by falling 5,000 feet in a charity skydive.

Kerri Lammas will perform her skydive with the Red Devils – the British Army’s Parachute Regiment – at the Langar Airfield in Nottingham on May 31.

The 26-year-old, who is from Bromsgrove, who works with adults with learning and physical difficulties at Wheely Different Theatre Company in Kidderminster, said: “It is the first time I have done anything like this before.

“It is a big thing for me to do. I’m very excited and a little nervous and I’m sure I will be nervous on the day too.

“My dad and husband will be there cheering me on but they will be safe on the ground!

“The Midlands Air Ambulance are completely reliant on people’s donations as they have no government funding so it is important for me to help them.

“I have raised £500 so far and I would like to try and get to about £800.”
