A LEAD-poisoned swan had to be rescued from a lake in Redditch by firefighters this morning (Saturday, February 25).
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service boat crew from Droitwich fire station were alerted to the incident at Arrow Valley Park at about 9.01am.
The crew assisted Wychbold Swan Rescue to rescue the swan from a lake.
