FOUR people were trapped in a lift in high rise flats in Worcester.
Firefighters rescued the four people who were stuck in the lift on the 14th floor of the flats in St Clement's Close, St John's.
Firefighters used small tools to free them from the lift at around 1.15pm today, around 20 minutes after they were first called.
The flats are fun by Fortis Living and provide sheltered or retirement housing for older people.
A spokeswoman from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "We had a call from the people that monitor the building.
"We were there within a few minutes and we released them about 1.13pm."
The high rise flats - known as Severn House, Cripplegate House and Henwick House - had a £5 million pound refurbishment in 2015.
