THE Children in Need fundraising began in Bromsgrove on Thursday with staff at A Plan Insurance on the High Street selling cakes and other delicious goodies to raise money for the charity.
Pudsey Bear came along to help out while staff members sold cakes they had donated themselves including red velvet cake, Pudsey cookies, and the famous lemon drizzle cake from the Regency Café. Visitors were given the chance to name a bear for £1 a go.
Branch manager Chris Warfield, said: “It’s a privilege to help raise money for such a worthwhile cause and help Bromsgrove to do its bit.”
Staff also wore fancy dress and bright yellow Pudsey ears for the day, visiting other local shops along the High Street to sell their wares, raising an impressive £265 for the charity.
